Note About Grading: All enamel pins are made by hand, which will result in variations or imperfections. I DO NOT GRADE THE SIDES AND BACKS, as they are rarely seen when on display. I grade based on what is visible from an arm’s length away, as bigger pins are typically enjoyed on a pin board. My pin categories are as follows:
Standard: These pins are the best in the batch, but may have minor imperfections (ex. light scuffs or scratches, very minor screen printing imperfections, or slightly under-filled enamel areas, flaws that can only be seen at an angle or in certain direct light.) This entire batch does have small air bubbles or inconsistencies with the metal texture under the translucent enamel. Please note this will be on standard pins as well. This is very common with pins that include translucent enamel and is hard to avoid, especially with lighter colored enamel.
Minor Flawed: Larger or multiple imperfections visible from normal view (multiple scratches or minor screen printing alignment issues). May include areas of over-filled or under-filled enamel, patches of enamel discoloration, small air bubbles or pin pricks, etc.
Major Flawed: Larger and more noticeable flaws of any kind. This category may also include more noticeable flaws to main features of the pin, including face flaws. May include any of the above flaws in addition to plating flaws, larger areas of translucent enamel overfill, larger under-filled areas, large areas of pin pricks, minor face flaws, etc.
No Grade: Larger and more noticeable flaws than Major Flawed grade pins. This category WILL INCLUDE noticeable face flaws. May include any of the above flaws in addition to large face flaws (discoloration/scratches seen on face). There is no missing enamel on these pins.
Please be aware of the grading before purchasing products, as I do not offer refunds for “flawed” pins.
